Type: Enamel EP-140 is a two-component system consisting of semi-finished enamel and fixative.
Application: Enamel is used for painting of pre-primed surfaces of steel, magnesium, aluminum and titanium alloys, and also copper and its alloys. It is possible to apply the enamel without prior priming.
Benefits: Enamel forms a coating that combines high adhesion and physical and mechanical properties. An effective combination of high-quality anti-corrosion pigments and functional additives create a high degree of protection of the metal against corrosion, as well as water, oil and gasoline resistance of the coating.
The enamel coating is resistant to temperature changes from minus 60 to plus 90 degrees Celsius.
Silver enamel EP-140 has high heat resistance (at least 3 hours at 250 degrees Celsius). This paint material can be used in all climatic zones.

Enamel EP-140 is a two-component system consisting of semi-finished enamel and fixative.
Before applying the enamel, it is necessary to remove oil residues, oil, dirt and other substances, such as mineral contamination, water-soluble salts, which affect the quality of surface preparation. The surface should be thoroughly cleaned of rust, scale and other contaminants, degreased and dried. The surface in the area of welds up to 3 cm wide is most thoroughly cleaned of residues of fluxes, alkaline slags and oxides formed during welding.
It is recommended to pre-sand the surface to improve its protective properties
Enamel is applied by pneumatic and electrostatic spraying. Before applying the semi-finished enamel is mixed with a fixative. Keep for 30 minutes in a closed container and apply with a pneumatic spray, brush or pour.
Enamel is applied at a temperature of at least 15 degrees Celsius and a relative humidity of not more than 65%. The drying time of a single-layer enamel coating with a thickness of 20 to 25 μm at a temperature of (90 ± 2) °C is not more than 2 hours, at a temperature of (20 ± 2) °C is not more than 6 hours.
The consumption of enamel EP-140 for a single-layer coating with a thickness of 20 - 25 μm is 75 - 130 g / m2 without taking into account the preparation, the complexity of the painted surface, colour and other factors.
When painting works, as well as after their completion, it is necessary to air the room; use personal protective equipment (clothing, goggles, rubber gloves).
Store the semi-finished enamel in a tightly sealed container, protecting it from moisture and direct sunlight.
